A preprint is a scientific paper that has been shared publicly before it has been peer reviewed (a formal review process conducted by other scientists). We wanted to share our initial findings as soon as possible and posting our results as a preprint allows the ME/CFS community, researchers, and clinicians to access our discoveries without delay. We hope this will help accelerate research and provide a greater understanding of the condition.

Our analysis is ongoing, and once complete, we will send all our findings for peer review and publication.
