86% of DecodeME participants consented to the following:

“I’m happy for my data to be shared with other researchers in future studies approved by DecodeME. The studies might be about diseases other than ME/CFS. I understand that it won’t be possible to identify me from my data and that my NHS health data won’t be shared.”

We will only share your de-identified data and samples with other approved researchers if you have given us your consent as above.

In addition, 95% of DecodeME participants consented to being contacted for new research projects.
