We have experienced unforeseen delays at UK Biocentre, who receive the valuable saliva samples and extract the DNA ready for genotyping. These have been due to operational and capacity issues.

These were outside of DecodeME’s control and have resulted in substantial delays in extracting DNA and the subsequent genotyping (working out the genetic make-up). This means we have not yet got all the data we expected to have at this point.

The DecodeME team has been working closely with UK Biocentre to address these issues and will continue to do so until all data is received.
